Charlotte Franz

January 26, 1959 — December 5, 2025

Bethlehem Township

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Charlotte Anne (Pardo) Franz, a devout Catholic whose life was rooted in faith, compassion, and unwavering love. Charlotte entered into the presence of the Lord on December 5th, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and grace.

Born on January 26th, 1959, Charlotte dedicated near 40 years of her life to serving others as a registered nurse with St. Luke's. Her gentle spirit, steady hands, and deep empathy touched countless lives. Nursing was not just her profession - it was her calling - a reflection of her commitment to care for others just as Christ taught.

Family and friends were the heart of her life. She opened her home and her heart to anyone who needed a listening ear or a place to feel understood. Her door was always open to anyone seeking comfort, conversation, or support. Her generosity, warmth, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel welcome and cherished.

Above all, her grandchildren were her greatest joy. They were the light of her life, and Grammy delighted in every hug, every laugh, and every milestone or achievement. To them, she was not only a grandmother but a source of comfort and unconditional love.

Charlotte will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Peter E. Franz; her sons, Andrew Franz (wife, Melissa) of Bethlehem, PA; Mark Franz (wife, Jennifer) of Rome, GA; her daughter, Melissa Franz (fiancé, Brandon Geise) of Garner, NC; grandchildren Greyson, Kinsley, Brooklynn, Callie Anne, Bodhi Crew, Hadley, and Beckett; her brother Charles Pardo (wife, Tamara) and her sisters; Marirose Billheimer (husband, Thomas), Suzanne Nehilla, Nancy Albinger (husband, Raymond), and Bethanne Doyle (husband, Morey). She is also survived by numerous Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A calling period will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 9:15-11:15 AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be at Holy Savior Cemetery.
