Christel A. Sicinski

Christel A. Sicinski, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026. Born on March 27, 1938, in Woodside, New York, she was the daughter of the late Christine and Arfst Beelendorf. Christel attended Dumont High School in New Jersey.

Christel's story began with her parents' journey to America from Föhr, an island off the coast of Germany-a place that always held a special place in her heart. As a young woman, she spent a cherished summer there with her aunts, uncles, and cousins, creating memories she carried throughout her life.

She met the love of her life, Stanley Sicinski, while they were both working at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and adventure. They shared a beautiful partnership for 64 years and remained devoted to one another until Stanley's passing in February 2021.

Christel was a proud and devoted mother who raised four children while earning her real estate license. She was fiercely independent and known for her strong opinions and spirited personality.

She enjoyed games that kept her mind active, including bridge, Bunko, bingo, and Mahjong. An avid reader, she also spent time on jigsaw puzzles and computer games, and she loved her trips to the casinos and playing the penny slots.

Above all else, Christel treasured time with her family. Nothing brought her more joy than being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Michael Sicinski and his wife, Carrin; Paul Sicinski and his wife, Karen; Jean (Sicinski) Pickford and her husband, Stephen; and Robert Sicinski.

Her beloved grandchildren are Theresa Sicinski, Ashley (Sicinski) Genne, Jeanine (Sicinski) Pyle, Katie Sicinski, Andrea (Sicinski) Herndon, Christopher Sicinski, Lauren Sicinski, Matthew Pickford, Kellie Pickford, Erika Pickford, Adam Sicinski, Megan Sicinski, and Courtney Sicinski. She was also blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren: Skyler, Yoshi, Alvie, Mazzy, Luca, CJ, Ashton, Hannon, Kian, Milo, Ella, Charlee, Jocelyn, and Nora.

Christel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Sicinski, and her sisters, Kathe (Beelendorf) Blaikie and Rita (Beelendorf) Myers.

A private service will be held.
