Concetta "Tina" R. Futchko

Concetta “Tina” R. Futchko, 80, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Born in Pottsville, PA on February 27, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Concetta (Tarantino) DiLazzaro. She was the loving wife of the late Andrew R. Futchko.

Tina was a 1961 graduate of Minersville High School. She went on to attend the Pottsville Penn State Center for 2 years and graduated from Kutztown State College in 1965. She was an active member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church where she was a kitchen volunteer. Tina loved reading, relaxing in Cape May, NJ and spending time with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Andrew Futchko of Hellertown, Christine Braxmeier and her husband, Edward of Bethlehem and Lisa Futchko of Pottstown; brothers, Anthony DiLazzaro of Camp Hill, Gabriel DiLazzaro and his wife, Colleen of Minersville and Joseph DiLazzaro and his wife, Vicki of Lancaster; sister, Susan McGrath of Minersville; grandchildren, Sydney Wasdick, Chelsea Wasdick and Isabella Tucci; beloved sister-in-law Dolores Smith of Saint Claire and many nieces and nephews, especially, Constance Brown of Pottsville, PA. Tina was preceded in death by her beloved sister-in-law, Carol Hudak DiLazzaro,

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. An Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 1140 Johnston Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
