Diane Rose Margaret Poehler

Diane Poehler, 79, of Easton, passed away on May 15, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 31, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Lennert) and Thomas Ford. She was the loving wife of Joseph Poehler.

Diane graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School in the last class that graduated from the original South Side of Bethlehem location. She worked as a server and host at many restaurants including Michael's Restaurant, the Valley Family Restaurant and Disney Vero Beach. Diane had a great personality and knew someone anywhere she went, even while traveling out of the country. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren who affectionately called her Mom Mom. You could often find Diane sitting along the water watching her husband fish while she enjoyed reading magazines and drinking a refreshing Coca-Cola.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Poehler; son, Joseph T. Poehler and his wife, Michelle; daughters, Wendy Domyan and her husband, Charles and Shea Ace and her husband, William; grandchildren, Amanda Grimes and her husband, Raymond, Gabriel Ace, Gavyne Ace, Elizabeth Domyan, Camille Domyan and Paige Poehler; great-grandchildren, Zayd Grimes, Kane Grimes, Romi Grimes, Joesiah Vasquez and Ayla Grimes and nieces, Tina Poehler (partner, Andy Prickler) and Tiffany Faisz. Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Colodonato.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. at Holy Infancy Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery will conclude services for Diane.
