Dolores S. Dominguez, 97, of Allentown, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at St. Luke's Allentown Campus. Born on November 29, 1928, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Juan Jose Sanchez and Frances (Miro) Sanchez.
Dolores was a graduate of Liberty High School class of 1948. After graduation she was employed at the Bethlehem Steel in the Venezuelan Mining Department. She was fluent in Spanish and was a valued employee. In 1951, Dolores married Dominic A. Andreoli, Jr., they shared a devoted family life along with their daughter until his passing in 1993. In 1995, Dolores remarried John M. Dominguez and they had an active life with much travel until his passing in 2011.
Dolores was a leader at Weight Watchers where she applied her passion and devotion in helping many people reach and keep their ideal weight and lifestyle. She reached a milestone of 52 years of service-starting in 1968 and loved all of her members and coworkers until her retirement in 2019.
Dolores was known for her infectious smile, classic sense of style, and impeccable attention to detail. She always ensured that her outfits matched perfectly, from her stylish high heels to her perfectly coiffed hair, reflecting the grace and elegance that characterized her life.
Dolores will be dearly missed by her daughter, Donna A. DiBussolo; son-in-law, Frank DiBussolo; granddaughter, Amanda Shannon; her former grandson-in-law, Wayne; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by her brother, Angelo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Infancy Church, 312 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolores's name to: St. Luke's Hospice, 240 Union Station Place, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Dolores's family would like to express their gratitude to St. Luke's Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they gave Dolores. They are forever thankful.
