Dolores M. Pavkovic

Dolores M. Pavkovic, 91, of Bethlehem, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2023 at home. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late John L. Kohlmier and Barbara E. Downey. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Pavkovic. Dolores was a homemaker, devoted wife, and mother to five daughters: Barbara Lefan (Kerry), Theresa Takach (Richard), Dolores Olonovich (Kenneth), Ann Grove (Carl), and Martha Ray (Charles). She is survived by her grandchildren: Daniel and Nicholas Mortagua, Zachary Takach, Drew and William Kuhns, and Jessica, Angela, Krista, Joseph, and Jack Olonovich and her great grandchildren: Landon Richbourg, Hailey Glick and Tyler Takach. Dolores will be remembered by her family and friends as an avid game player as well as an extremely kind and generous person.

A life-long Bethlehem resident, her love of community was evident in all that she did. She volunteered at St. Luke’s hospital for 32 years and the Celtic Festival for 20 years. While living at Moravian Village, she volunteered in their gift shop and was a choir member.

Prior to its closing, she was an active member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church where she was a founding member of their Women’s Guild and a choir member for 38 years. At the time of passing, Dolores was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp.

A viewing will be held at Connell Funeral Home from 5-7pm on Friday, December 15, 2023 and 10-11am on Saturday, December 16, 2023 with a memorial service beginning at 11am in the funeral home.
