Donald J. Kaercher

Donald J. Kaercher , 72 , of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late

Charles A. & Rose L. Briody Kaercher.

He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem and a veteran of the U.S. Army and had played baseball locally in various leagues.

Mr. Kaercher was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 1992.

Along with his wife of 43 years, Sally J. Galucy, he is survived by:

Son-Donald J. Kaercher, Jr. & wife Sharon of Camp Hill,

Daughter-Debra Manganiello & husband Vincent of Bethlehem,

Sister-Rita Hart & husband James of Charlotte, N.C.

Grandchildren-Jill & Mark Kaercher and Spencer Manganiello

He was predeceased by a brother Charles.

SERVICES:

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, May 20,

from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, May 21, from 8:30AM - 9:45AM.

Services will begin at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, May 21, at 9:45 AM and be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 10:30 AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA
