Edgar Carmelo Negron

Edgar Carmelo Negron, Sr., 65, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. He was born in Bethlehem on December 3, 1953.

Edgar was a graduate of Liberty High School. Edgar will be remembered as a kind and loving man with a great sense of humor. He loved his son very much and was always willing to help those he cared for. Edgar was proud to be a considered a father figure to some of the children in his neighborhood. He was a talented cook and was happy to work in local restaurants. Edgar also shared his wonderful cooking with his family.

Edgar will be dearly missed by his mother, Ana Santiago; wife of over 25 years, Rita Werkheiser; son, Edgar Manuel Negron, Jr.; daughter, Chrissy Negron; and his granddaughter, Michelae Negron. He was preceded in death by his father, Carmelo Negron; and siblings, Carmelo Negron, Jr., Jose Negron, and Eledes Davis.

Services have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
