Elizabeth C. Jasso

Elizabeth C. Jasso, 88, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday June 3, 2008 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem on May 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Andrew S. and Julia J. Kost Jasso.

She graduated from Liberty High School in 1934 and from Bethlehem Business School in 1935. She was employed by Lehigh University for 22 years, working in the Motor Vehicle Office, and retiring in 1987. She was a member of SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and of the Catholic Sokols. She later worked as a secretary for the church's parish school. She served as a recording secretary and treasurer at the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Andrew T. Jasso and his wife Elsie of Bethlehem, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
