Elizabeth M. Vaccaro

Elizabeth M. Vaccaro, 91, of Mountainside, NJ and former long time resident of Bethlehem, died Wednesday June 4, 2008 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. Born in Bethlehem on July 2, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Ortwein Weinhardt. She was the wife of the late James A. Vaccaro who died on October 15, 2007; they were married for 73 years. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Frances Anderson and her husband Bruce of Mountainside, NJ; sister, Hilda Novasilech of Allentown; five grandchildren; five great grand children; one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, James A. Vaccaro, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Ann Ueberroth; sisters, Rosina Brunell and Catherine Schenkel.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where a viewing hour will be held on Monday June 9th from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
