Ernest Robert Smodish: died Monday, November 10, 2008 at home-Lower Saucon, PA. Born August 11, 1945 in Fountain Hill, PA. Husband of Elaine C. Reily Smodish. Married on October 15, 1966 in Sumter, South Carolina. Ernie is a son of the late Ernest and Mary Kosik Smodish.
Children: daughter, Elise C. Happel and husband Jon of Hellertown, PA, sons: Eric E., Ernest Adam., Elijah W., Evan J., and Ethan I. Smodish all of Bethlehem, PA., sisters: Maryann and husband Robert Kellow of Manchester, NJ and Pat Krycia of Hellertown, brother, Robert E. Smodish and wife Dolly of Bethlehem, and three grandchildren, Ashley Torres, Benjamin and Riley Happel.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 10:30-11:30 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM, at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Hellertown, PA.
