Francis S. Potter

Francis S. Potter, 57, of Quakertown, died Thursday April 27, 2006, at St. Luke?s Quakertown Hospital. Born, August 18, 1948, in Bethlehem; he was the son of the late Frank Potter and Cecelia Cortez Potter-Smith.

Francis was a graduate of Liberty H.S., class of 1966. He was a veteran of the USMC, serving in Vietnam. After the war he was employed by the former Bethlehem Globe Times and most recently was employed by the Comfort Suites of Bethlehem as a kitchen manager.

He will be lovingly remembered by: daughters, Melanie Potter-Morales and husband Bryan of Allentown and, Melissa Zeigler of WA; sisters, Brenda Potter-Verastegui of Bethlehem, and Sandra Potter-Leimbacher of Iowa; grandchildren, Janysa, Xavier and Jaquelyn Morales and, Alyssa and Tres Zeigler. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Potter.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St; Bethlehem, PA 18018, where visitation will be held on Tuesday May 2nd from 9 to 11 a.m. A prayer service will follow, in the funeral home, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Marks Cemetery of Allentown.
