Frank Julius Klement, 88, of Steel City, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2022 at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born on November 20, 1933, he was the son of the late Anna (Nemeth) and Paul Klement.
Frank was the husband of Mary G. Klement, of Steel City. They just celebrated their 64th anniversary on Feb. 1st. Frank honorably served our country for 32 years in the United States Navy. During his career he spent time amongst numerous ships around the world. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Bethlehem, the Fleet Reserve Association and a lifetime member of the Steel City Gun Club. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary; nephew, Scott Nocek; great-nephew, Scott Nocek Jr.; great-niece, Nicole Bresnak; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine “Kitty” Nocek.
There will be a viewing on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Another viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 11-12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a funeral service beginning at 12:00. Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
