Frank Michael Guydan

Frank Michael Guydan, a gentle soul, fell asleep in the Lord and left his home on June 23, 2023 to join his Parents, FrankPeter and Susan, Sister Patricia, Brother-in-Law Raymond, his Aunt Katherine, and other departed family members.

He is survived by his Wife Michele, Brother-in-Law Michael, two Aunts, Nieces/Nephews, and Cousins.

Born and raised in Monongahela, PA, he graduated from Elizabeth-Forward High School and joined the Air Force. He received his training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, Maine and Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge he attended and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He spent his career as a licensed Aircraft Mechanic/Crew Chief for Eastern and American Airlines at LaGuardia and Kennedy Airports. Frank enjoyed serving at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Whitestone, New York and St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church Bethlehem, PA, along with cooking and baking.

The family would like to thank the doctors/staff at Lehigh Valley Health Network, St. Lukes Physical Therapists; nurses/staff from Lehigh Valley Oasis Palliative Care and Hospice for your care and compassion.

Service: Family and friends are invited to call 5-6pm Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 980 Bridle Path Road, Bethlehem followed by the Panikhida Prayer Service. An additional calling hour will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church from 9-10am followed by a Funeral Service at 10am. The interment will be held 11am Wednesday July 5, 2023 at The Monastery of St. Tikhon of Zadonsk, 175 St. Tikhons Road, Waymart, PA with Military Honors.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Orthodox Christian Church, Parkinsons Research Foundation, American Lung Assoc. or a Charity of choice.
