Frank Thomas Vestos

Frank Thomas Vestos, 84, of Bethlehem, passed away at Cedarbrook

Nursing Home in Fountain Hill where he resided for the past month. Born November 5, 1921in Steelton, PA, he was the son of the late George and Catherine Vestos. Frank worked for The Bethlehem Corporation for 37 years. He retired in 1983. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy.

Frank was an avid bowler and was president of the Friday Night Easy League for over 50 years. He was a member of the Bethlehem American Veteran?s Association and was a great supporter of Lehigh Wrestling. He spent the last 26 years with his companion, Violet M. Ruch of Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Catherine Fox of

North Carolina; sister, Anna Vestos of Bethlehem; step-daughter, Sandra Squires of New Hampshire; step-sons, Robert Shellenberger of Virginia and Richard Shellenberger of Wyomissing, PA. All of his children have made him a very proud pop-pop of 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, his wife Marian Shellenberger Vestos, first wife, Elizabeth E. Kukor Vestos and daughters, Elizabeth Walter, Anna Ruch and Frances Vestos.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Friday, July 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be held, Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, from 10-11 a.m. both in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Cedarbrook Nursing Home, 724 Delaware Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18015. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to Cedarbrook for all their care and warmth they gave Frank during this past month.
