Gerald R. Schleppy, Sr., 78, of Emmaus, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Phoebe Home. He was born in Bethlehem; the son of the late Charles E. and Mary (Papp) Schleppy.
Gerald was in the textile industry; he had a great work ethic was able to work his way up to foreman of the sewing machine factory he was employed. He will be remembered for doing the right thing and for always being a down to earth kind of guy. Gerald found great joy in being outdoors; especially when he was hunting and fishing.
He will be dearly missed by his son, Gerald; daughters, Kimberly; AnnMarie; and Dana; as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be announced after the restrictions due to the pandemic have been lifted.
