Gertrude K. Kolleogy

Gertrude K. Kolleogy, 81, of Bethlehem Twp. died Sunday January 21, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital ? Cedar Crest of Allentown. Born, September 6, 1925 in Freemansburg; she was the daughter of the late Chauncey and Mary Weingartner Fritchman. She was the wife of the late Louis J. Kolleogy.

Gertrude worked as a sewing machine operator for thirty plus years at various places throughout the valley including Diamond Blouse and Nikki-Lynn Sportswear from where she retired in 1987. She was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Bethlehem Twp.

She will be lovingly remembered by: son, Louis J. Kolleogy, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Biglerville; daughter, Laraine Brobst and husband Barry of Bethlehem Twp; granddaughters, Melisa Monek and Cherie Kolleogy. She was preceded in death by: son, David J. Kolleogy and brothers, Thomas and Chauncey Fritchman.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St; Bethlehem where a viewing will be held on Friday January 26th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and will be followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Sacred Heart Church, 1817 1st St; Bethlehem, PA 18020. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery of Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
