Gracinda T. DaSilva

Gracinda T. DaSilva, 88, of Bethlehem, formerly of Hellertown, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at The Vero, Bethlehem. Born on February 26, 1938 in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Anna (Tavares) Cirne.

Gracinda had a remarkable talent for sewing and crocheting, and her delicious cakes and breads filled the homes of her family and friends with warmth and love.

Gracinda was a proud lifetime member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Hellertown, where she found great joy in her faith and community.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Jack DaSilva; granddaughters, Abigail and Sophia DaSilva; and sister, Ana.

In addition to her parents, Gracinda is preceded in death by her husband, Joaquim DaSilva; son, Fernando DaSilva; and her siblings, Lourdes, Joao, Rosa, and Joaquim.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Rd., Hellertown, PA 18055. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown.
