Gregorio Ramos

Gregorio Ramos, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at L.V. Hospital-Muhlenberg.

He was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico; the son of the late Pedro and Eugenia Morales Ramos.

Gregorio was preceded in death by his wife, Damasa DeLeon Ramos.

He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. where he worked in the Coke Works.

Gregorio was very devoted to Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where he volunteered his time and was a member of the Holy Name Society.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Peter Ramos and his wife Lucy of Saucon Valley; his Daughter-in-Law, Sharon Ramos of Bethlehem Twp.; four grandchildren Greg Ramos, Jennifer Ramos, Peter Ramos and Anthony Ramos as well as his great grandson, Brenden Ramos.

Gregorio was also preceded in death by his daughter Aida and his son Luis.

The family will receive friends at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, December 25, 2009 from 7-9 PM and again on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 8-9:15 AM at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 10AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
