Harry "Reds" Bolesky, Jr., 84 of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Ft. Hill Campus. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late, Julia (Hugitz) and Harry Bolesky, Sr. He was the loyal husband to Christine (Tkaczyk) Bolesky, with whom he would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on May 25th.
Harry worked for the City of Bethlehem in the water department, retiring as a supervisor after 42 years of service. In his younger days Harry enjoyed bowling with the Panthers Bowling League. He was also a proud member of the Polish American Citizens Club of Allentown, where he and his wife spent countless weekends listening and dancing to Polka music, and St. Bernards Club on southside Bethlehem. In his spare time at home he could be found cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, daughter, Tanya Azar, son, Joe Bolesky and wife Teresa, grandchildren, Briana, Taylor, and Joey, and great grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Connell Funeral Home from 10-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Harry's name to the charity of one's choice.
