Helen M. Johnson

Helen M. Johnson, 94, passed away, Monday, April 4, 2011 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Earl G. Johnson for 73 years who passed away in November 2010. Formerly of Freemansburg, she was a life-long resident. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine Dehelker.

Helen dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Helen, wife of Joseph Jody Silvester, granddaughter, Karen, wife of Dr. Matthew Bartelt and her great-grandsons, Ryan and Colin Bartelt.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Holy Family Manor Chapel, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem.

Visitation will be from 11-11:45 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
