Helen Sawchuk, 87, of Bethlehem Township, died on Saturday April 9, 2011. Born in Miller Heights on May 30, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Cablk Magocs. She was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Co. during WWII and worked as a floor supervisor for South Manufacturing of Bethlehem for 25 years, retiring in 1988.
She will be lovingly remembered by her 12 nieces and nephews, and brother Edward Magocs of Bangor. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Fred, and Charles Magocs, sisters, Irene Francisco, and Elizabeth Magocs.
Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday April 14th at 1:00 PM. Call from 12:30 to 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of St. Luke's, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Suite 200, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
