James M. Frank

James M. Frank, 87, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Saturday September 12, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA. He was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Walter and Ethel (Simm) Frank. He was the husband of Clara (Diehl) Frank, of Bethlehem, and they celebrated 61 years of marriage this past April 3rd.

Jim was a sheet metal worker for the Philadelphia Union Local 19 for many years. He was a member of the New Covenant Christian Community Church in Bethlehem and served as the staff bookkeeper and head of the church financial committee. Jim was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the American Legion in Cambridge, MD.

Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife, Clara; daughter, Stephanie Rhodes and husband Michael; grandson, Nicholas Rhodes and wife Alayna; and great granddaughter, Nora.

Jim was predeceased by his sons, John and Thomas Frank; as well as his brothers, Walter and Bruce Frank.

Friends are invited to call from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the New Covenant Christian Community Church, 21 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, with an 11 a.m. Memorial Service to follow. Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem.
