Jean M. Tate

Jean M. Tate, 85, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Saturday July 25, 2026, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill, Pa. She was born in Allentown, the daughter of the late Vincent and Irene (Szerki) Tate. Jean attended Moravian College in Bethlehem and St. Mary's Dominican College in New Orleans, LA. She worked as a cytotechnologist for several hospitals in the Lehigh Valley, Virginia, North Carolina and Louisiana. She later worked for many years as a certified home health aide for various organizations, including VNA of the Lehigh Valley and Rx Home Care.

Along with her parents, Jean was predeceased by a cousin, Donna Gilkeson.

A calling hour will be held from 10-11am on Thursday August 6, 2026, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA , followed by a memorial service at 11am. The burial will be held at Hellertown Union Cemetery.
