Jeffrey M. Rogers, 72, of Fountain Hill, passed peacefully after years of battling cancer, on October 10, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on March 18, 1953, he was the son of Larry Rogers and MaryAnne Anderson (Nee Milligan). Jeff is survived by his wife, Sharon Rogers.

Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as a medic. Following his service, he settled in North Carolina where he worked a variety of jobs while attending nursing school-among them, driving an ice cream truck. True to his generous spirit, Jeff often brought leftover ice cream to children in underprivileged neighborhoods, paying out of his own pocket so they could enjoy a treat.

After working as a nurse in Florida, Jeff earned his degree in computer science, which led to an opportunity with Genographics that allowed him to live and work in Holland and throughout Europe. Upon returning to the United States, he made his home in Bethlehem Township, where he served the City of Bethlehem as a Police Officer for 20 years as a member of Platoon 2, where he was known as a gentle giant. His jobs on the force, included Detective and Training Officer. Even after retirement, Jeff remained active, driving trucks for J.B. Hunt and later student buses for Lehigh University.

A man of many interests, Jeff enjoyed woodworking, fishing, flying model planes and drones, and cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved animals-especially his rescued dogs, Tux and Molly-and was known for his kindness, humor, and generosity. Jeff often said he wanted to be remembered simply as "a nice guy," a legacy he undoubtedly fulfilled.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sharon Rogers; son, Nicolas Rogers and partner Whitney Rogers and Granddaughter, Layla Rogers; daughter, June Rogers and her life partner; stepdaughter, Charlotte DeLong and spouse, Gregory; sister, Roberta Rogers and niece, Lela Anne Rogers-Whitson, and sister. Carol Rogers and Spouse, Robert Frederick . nephew, Lukas Rogers and nieces Polly and Hillary as well as a special mention to Marilyn Rosenblatt Strauss, a much loved Aunt.
