Jerri Bonawitz, 75, of Allentown, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was born in Fountain Hill on September 9, 1949 to the late Gerald and Frances (O'Donnell) Weaver. Jerri worked as a Customer Service Rep at Guardian Life Insurance. After retiring, she enjoyed a quiet life, filled with the simple pleasures she cherished. She had a huge love for animals. Whether her own or strays, she made sure they were nurtured, fed and loved. Most recently she lost her beloved Scamp, Rascal and her biggest baby, Boots. They were most definitely waiting to greet her when she made it over the rainbow. This was her favorite time of year heading into the holidays. Starting with Halloween, she loved handing out candy to all the neighborhood kids and always enjoyed going to her grandchildren's Halloween parades when they were young.
Moving into the Christmas season was her most special time of year. Decorating her house from top to bottom in everything Christmas and entertaining her family and friends each year. She was loved and will be missed. Rest in peace Mom.
