Jo-Ann D. "Pee wee" Becker, 91, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Catherine Dugan. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry, which whom she spent over 60 years with.
Jo-Ann dedicated her life to serving others. For many years she was a secretary at Liberty High School. Jo-Ann was known for her enduring passion for helping people and her tireless work as a volunteer at Muhlenberg Hospital. Jo-Ann's love for literature was a defining part of her life; she was an avid reader who found joy and solace in the pages of countless books. Above all, she was a devoted family-oriented woman who cherished the time spent with her loved ones, instilling in them the values of kindness and community service.
Surviving: nephew: James; great niece: Shannon; great great niece: Ariel; great great great niece and nephew: Reign and Alana; sister-in-law: Joanne; and many other nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Harold: she was predeceased by her niece: Susan; brothers: Harold and James. Jo-Ann will be forever remembered by Tony, Scott, Jimmy, Anet, Linda, John, Ann, Tim, Joanie, and their families. She was lovingly remembered and forever treasured by her family and friends.
A visitation will held on Wednesday February 11, 2026 from 9-10:30am at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. She will be laid to rest with her Husband Harold, at Holy Saviour Cemetery following Mass.
The Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem has been entrusted with arrangements.
