Joan McCollum

Joan McCollum, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Gladys and William Laudenslager.

Joan had a wonderful sense of humor, genuinely loved life, and expressed her love freely with those close to her. In addition to the people around her, she loved the Golden Girls, John Wayne, and animals of all kinds. She had a flare for fashion and treasured her novelty handbags and jewelry collection, especially her watches. She also enjoyed her impressive collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. Joan had beautiful blue eyes and a radiant smile that would light up any room and warm your heart.

She will be lovingly remembered by her friends, Jon and Sandy Maury, Amy McCrae, Raquel Burns Danilov and her SPIN family who loved her so much. Many thanks to Serenity Hospice for their compassionate care, support, and understanding.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10:45-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
