Joanne Mihulec-Sheetz

Joanne Mihulec-Sheetz, 93, of Hellertown passed away Saturday June 7, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Michael "Moxie" Joseph Mihulec who died June 21, 1991 and the late Alvin C. Sheetz, Jr. who died March 7, 2017. Joanne was born in Morgantown, WV on September 12, 1931 to the late Elmer J. and Nellie R. (Oliver) Henry. She had a fulfilling career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill where she touched countless lives through her dedication and commitment to patient care. Joanne was a proud member of the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown and its Ladies Guild. She volunteered her time and care to the former St. Theresa's New Beginnings Thrift Shop, until it's devastating fire in 2007.

Survivors: children: Michael S. and his wife Barbara Mihulec of Emmaus, Brenda Jo Weierbach of Bethlehem; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. Predeceased by siblings: Eugene Henry, Clifford Henry and Joyce Lynn Aitken.

Services: Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 9:00-10:30am Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown, PA 18055.
