Jose F. Silvestre

Jose F. Silvestre, 87, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Friday March 1, 2024, at his home. He was born in Portugal the son of the late Joaquim and Maria Silvestre. He was the husband of Maria Do Carmo (Almeida) Silvestre. They were married for 62 years this past February 10th. Jose worked as a machine operator for the Vianini Pipe Company in Somerville, NJ. He was a member of the Portuguese American Club and an avid soccer player and fan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria, son, Joaquim Silvestre, daughter, Teresa Fonseca and husband Joao, and 3 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 9-10am Wednesday March 6, 2024, at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Burial will be held in Portugal.
