Jose Luis Fonseca, Jr.

Jose "JUNY" Fonseca, Jr., 47, of Temple, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 23, 1978, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Jose was the son of Jose Luis Fonseca, Sr. and Aurea Maria Medina.

Juny was known for his kind heart and generous spirit, Juny had a knack for helping others, often giving the shirt off his back to those in need. He possessed a charm and humor that drew people to him, making him a dear friend to many.

Among his many passions, Juny had a deep love for history and an enduring appreciation for the ocean. In addition to his love for exploration and learning, he was a self-taught handyman, always eager to lend a helping hand and share his skills with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Juny is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Lisa Marie Fonseca; children, Jaylyn Fonseca, Jayden Fonseca, and Yaliyah Negron; sisters, Jarely Fonseca, Maria Nelli Cruz, and Charlene Colon; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
