Jose Vazquez

Jose Vazquez, 81, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away July 10, 2023 at Genesis Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Carmen G. (Perez) Vazquez. Jose was born on October 24, 1941, in Ciales, Puerto Rico, to the late Jose Rafael Vazquez Trinidad and Marie Trinidad. He lived a life marked by thoughtfulness, generosity, and a wonderful sense of humor. Jose was a U.S. Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army with distinction. His service extended beyond his military career, as he was deeply involved in his church. He served as a Deacon at his church, Iglesia Adventista Comunitaria, Allentown.

Jose was a man of many interests, but fishing held a special place in his life.

Survivors: In addition to his wife of 29 years: stepdaughter: Migdalia Roman of Harrisburg; grandchildren: Xavier Drovet, Clarabelle Ortiz, Peter Silva; 5 great grandchildren.

Services: A visitation will be held 11-12noon Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street-Bethlehem followed by a Prayer Service at 12 noon. The interment will be held privately. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
