Joseph E. Pinter, Sr., 81, of Freemansburg, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Northampton Post Acute, Bethlehem Twp. He was the husband of the late Joyce J. (Rutt) Pinter who died in 1996. Joseph was born in Fountain Hill on February 23, 1942 to the late Charles, Sr. and Gertrude (Burkhardt) Pinter. He had worked for New Jersey Zinc Mine for 12 years and then worked for the Bethlehem Area Vo-Tech for 25 years until retiring.
Survivors: children: Joseph E. Pinter, Jr. of Freemansburg, Joyce J. Edinger of Easton; siblings: Charles Pinter, Jr. of Blandon, PA, Richard (Debbie) Pinter of Sea Isle City, NJ, Maryann (Neil) Zimmerman of Orlando, FL; grandchildren: Jennifer Rodger, Christina Rodger, Ashley Pinter, Payton Pinter; great granddaughter: Jalyssia Terrell. Predeceased by his son Jay Pinter.
