Joseph Gatti

Joseph (Giovanni) Gatti, 97, of Hellertown, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Born in Union City, New Jersey, December 18, 1927. Gio as he liked to be called served his country in World War II for the United States Navy.

He was a proud Italian man who was a devoted father and grandfather to his family. Gio was a self-made man who had strength and perseverance to become a very successful man. His work is accomplished throughout New York and local areas. Gio instilled his same drive and respect for his family which will always be celebrated and loved forever. His passions were painting, writing, and jewelry designing.

Poppy will be missed by his daughters, D. Christine Wilsey and her husband, Don, and Lisa Gatti Miller and her husband, Jeff; grandsons, Tyson G. Gatti and his wife, Jasmine, and Devin M. Miller; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Keirsten, and Lindsey; and his great-great-grandchildren, Ava and Deja.

Gio is preceded in death by his wife, Muriel M. (Goff) Gatti; loving son, David Gatti, who he dearly missed; and his parents, Ralph and Catherine Gatti.
