Joseph M. Zechmeister, 88, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. He was born in Bethlehem the son of the late Michael and Katherine Lassisa Zechmeister.
Joseph worked for the Sarco Company as a Dill Press Operator. He proudly served his country during WWII as a U.S. Navy Seabee. He was a member of the Hellertown American Legion.
Joseph is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of One's Choice.
