Joseph G. Polak, Jr.

November 12, 1953 — June 12, 2025

Bethlehem

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph George Polak Jr., 71, of Bethlehem, PA, who left us unexpectedly on June 12, 2025. He was the son of the late Helen E. (Fleming) and Joseph G. Polak, Sr.

Joe was a loving brother to Joyce Brauchle, husband to estranged wife Doreen Polak, father to Ashley Polak, Megan Johnson, and Joey Polak III, and a proud grandfather to his two greatest joys,
Brielle and Trevor. His life was centered around the people he loved most - his family and his friends. Whether casting a fishing line, dancing to his favorite songs, or simply sitting around sharing stories and laughter, Joe lived every moment fully and with great heart.

He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and cared for, always ready with a warm smile, a quick joke, or a helping hand. His legacy will forever live on in the memories shared, the lessons taught, and the love he poured into his children and grandchildren.

Joe's absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his spirit, kindness, and unconditional love will continue to guide those who were lucky enough to know him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Joe's memory to the animal charity of your choice.
