Joseph R. Haas

Joseph R. Haas, 86, of Bethlehem passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. Born on August 17, 1937, the son of the late Cecilia (Graf) and Joseph J. Haas, Jr. He was the loving husband of Roberta R. (Burkit) Haas.

Joseph proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Before enjoying retirement, Joseph worked at Western Electric/AT&T for many years. He enjoyed fly fishing, skiing, taking meticulous care of his home and visiting lighthouses at the shore. Above everything else, Joseph loved his family and especially adored his grandchildren and cherished his time spent with them.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Roberta; daughter, Stacey Caamano and her husband, Mark; sons, Jeff Haas and his wife, Natalie and Keith Haas and his wife, Kelly; sister, Carol Buttillo; brothers, Leonard, Kenneth, Gerald and Barry Haas and grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Dylan, Austin, Jacob, Noah, Hunter and Lyla. Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Kemmerer.

Services will be held privately.
