Josephine F. Stoehr Rauh, 93, of Bethlehem, PA, formerly of Toms River, NJ, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born February 21, 1917 in New York City, NY she was the daughter of the late Lillian Kuntz and William Stoehr. She was married to the late Richard Rauh.
Josephine worked as a book keeper for many years in Greenbrook, NJ and New York City. She was also a volunteer with the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Toms River, NJ. Josephine was a former member at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Toms River and its Altar Rosary Society and currently at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
Josephine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Therese wife of Jeffrey Hero, grandchildren, Jennifer Bracken, Bethanie Trent and Andrew Hero, great grandchildren, Parker, Addison and Gwyneth.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Peterka.
A viewing will be held on April 29, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 from 9-10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem, PA.
