Judy C. Baab/Smale

Judy C. Baab/Smale (Davis), 83, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Monday December 11, 2023. She was born in Bethlehem, to the daughter of the late Harold and Irene (Richards) Davis. She was the wife of the late Richard Smale and Thomas Baab Sr. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Baab.

Judy graduated from Liberty High School in 1958 where she spent most of her years focused on growing her education in business and producing the weekly copies of the “Cauldron”. Judy used the knowledge that she gained from meeting with business owners, the community, and bankers to help grow her husband, Thomas Baab’s automotive business. Judy did not stop there. She was a member of the Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church in Bethlehem and the Mount Eaton Church in Saylorsburg. Judy used the Lord's help to become the owner and operator of Seafood Unlimited, as well as a loving homemaker.

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children; Thomas Baab Jr. (Donna), James Baab (Bridget Cloud), and Denise Vincenty (Ronald), her siblings; James Davis and Susan Horvath, and her grandchildren; Danny, Amanda, Jamie, Sara, Ariel, Briana, and Natalie, and 11 great grandchildren. They will remember the late-night card games around the kitchen table, hearing about her most recent trip to see the wild elk, looking at the photos from the different places she visited during her cruises, family beach trips, the famous easter egg hunts, and countless hours spent making memories at the little red cabin in the Promised Land Poconos.

A viewing will be held from 9-11am Saturday December 16, 2023, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a service at 11am. The burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at The Palace Restaurant in Bethlehem.
