Julio Barea

Julio A. Barea, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Bethlehem North Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on November 28, 1928, in San Germán, Puerto Rico, Julio lived a long and full life marked by dedication, quiet strength, and deep love for his children and family.

For over 44 years, he shared an unwavering and devoted partnership with his beloved companion, Carmen D. Rosario. Julio spent much of his career serving as the Superintendent of a private housing community in New York.

Julio was deeply loved, and his warmth and easy going personality touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his spouse, Carmen, his step daughter, 3 children, his cherished grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory close.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
