Kathryn "Kate" Kay Prebosnyak, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Born on April 17, 1947, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Gottlieb Miller, Sr. and Ferne (Andrews) Miller.
Kate enjoyed tending to her flowers. She loved the beach, with a very special place in her heart for the shores of Chincoteague, Virginia. Turning every holiday into an unforgettable and magic-filled occasion, Kate instilled a love for tradition within all of her children. She loved to cook and a really good country song. She truly was the heart and soul of her family. Kathryn was not only a nurturing mother but also an avid collector of angels, reflecting her gentle spirit. Now, her loved ones take solace in the belief that she has become one of the angels she so admired.
Kate will be dearly missed by her two sons, Mike (Mary) Prebosnyak and Scott (Laura Robbins) Prebosnyak; daughter, Sherri (Charles Slaughter) Prebosnyak; and seven grandchildren, Zachary, Kayleigh, Lex, Reese, Paige, Parker, and Felicity.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert (Bob) William Prebosnyak; two brothers, Gottlieb (Buddy) Miller, Jr. and Kenneth Miller; and sister, Bonnie Steckroth.
A viewing for family and friends will be held 10-11am on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem. The interment will conclude services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
