Laura H. Amador

Laura Henriques Amador, 86, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Sunday April 26, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus. She was born in Pardelhas Murtosa, Portugal, the daughter of the late Pantaleao Jose Henriques and Domingas (Tavares) Rebimbas. She was the wife of Francisco O. Amador of Bethlehem, and they celebrated 58 years of marriage this past September. Laura was a sewing machine operator in the clothing industry for many years. She enjoyed traveling to Portugal in the summer months to visit family. She was devoted to her faith and family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Francisco, daughter, Laura Marques, grandchildren, Cristina Marques, and Adriana Marques: and her sister, Maria Amelia Henriques. She was predeceased by 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

A viewing will be held from 8:45am-9:45am on Friday May 1st, 2026, at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am. The burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
