Lawrence F. Yokai

Lawrence Yokai, 59, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, April 4, 2016, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1956, in Bethlehem, son of Agnes A. (Check) Yokai and the late Elmer Yokai. Larry was a 1974 graduate of Liberty High School where he was a member of the Grenadier Marching Band. He later graduated from Kutztown University in 1979. Larry was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church. He was an active member of the N.E. Wanderers A.A. and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, Agnes; sister, Barbara Yeager and her husband, Thomas; nephews, Jason and his wife, Nicole and Justin and great- niece, Hannah and great-nephew, Ashton. Larry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Agnes (Bednarik) Chech and paternal grandparents, John and Beatrice (Tallas) Yokai.

Service will be private.
