Bethlehem

Leo P. Clifford, 75, of Bethlehem, formerly of Denver, PA passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. Born in Munich, Germany, he was the son of the late Norma (Winfield Cadden) and Frank J. Clifford.

Leo proudly served our country as a member of the National Guard. Leo loved being outside, especially camping and kayaking. He enjoyed playing chess and woodworking. In his earlier years, Leo enjoyed riding his bike and playing pinball machines. He later turned this love into one of his first entrepreneurial  pursuits,  his own pinball company, The Electric Sandbox.

Leo was a graduate of Liberty High School and furthered his studies at Northampton Community College.

"Lee"  had a great gift of being able to have a conversation with anyone, anywhere. Lee's gift of gab helped him develop his life's work as the founder and director of the National Addiction Awareness Complex.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Michael A. Clifford; sisters, Margo Ging, Paula Priestas, BJ (Barbara) Papier and Catherine Rudolph and her husband, Frank; grandchildren, Roger and David Clifford and many nieces and nephews. Leo was preceded in death by his brother in laws, Alan Papier and Peter Ging.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10-11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Church, 450 Washington Ave. Burial will be held at a later date.
