Lucille L. Majewski

December 13, 1932 — December 27, 2021

Lucille Majewski, 89, of Bethlehem went home to our Lord on Monday, December 27, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1932, the daughter of the late John Roseman and Margaret (Mitman) Roseman. She was the wife of the late Stanley Majewski, Sr. They celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Lucille was a faithful Catholic, with a special devotion to our Blessed Mother. She prayed the Rosary and Divine Mercy daily. She cherished her family and was an exemplary role model in so many ways. Lucy enjoyed running with the Sokols as a child, walking the hills of South Bethlehem, dancing to polkas and playing Farkle. She was an outstanding cook and baker. She loved sharing her meals and goodies with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Lucy had a lovely voice and enjoyed singing in parish choirs, as a soloist for weddings, and especially as a member of the Tatra Slovak folk group.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Stanley Majewski and his wife June, John Majewski and his wife Mary; daughters Margie Tanen and her husband Steven, and Janice Bitler and her husband Robert; brother Robert Roseman; sister Irene Bringenberg; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by 7 siblings and her grandson, Matthew Tanen.
