Lucille M. Seidenberger (Lucy), age 97, of Lower Saucon Valley, has passed away at The Solana of Doylestown on January 15, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Anna (Pezderack) Ronca and the sibling to eight sisters and brothers. Lucille was born on Thanksgiving Day in the house that her father built in Fountain Hill. She was the devoted wife of the late beloved Robert J. Seidenberger, mother to four children and grandmother four times over.
Lucy graduated from Fountain Hill High School and continued her studies at Bethlehem Business College. Upon graduation, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Bethlehem Steel. She was also a volunteer for the Red Cross and at St. Luke's hospital. After Lucy and Bob married, they moved to Bucks County where they raised their four children. For many years, Lucy volunteered at the Bucks County Courthouse as an election aide. For her generation, she was the epitome of the 'consummate homemaker'; her cooking and baking were legendary with family and friends. Lucy was an accomplished bridge player and enjoyed playing tennis and golf. Bob and Lucille loved to travel; they had many adventures over the years visiting Asia, Europe, South America, Canada and other parts of the world. First and foremost, Lucille was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She had a phenomenal sense of humor and was adored by her children, friends, neighbors, siblings, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed and remembered dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lucille is survived by her four children: Debra Beck of Bethlehem, PA, Patricia Wood (husband, Chip) of Arlington, VA, Robert Seidenberger, Jr. of Levittown, PA and Susan Zesiger (husband, Adrian) of Switzerland; four grandchildren: Matthew Wood (wife, Lindsay) and Christopher Wood (wife, Catelyn) of Richmond, VA, Sage Zesiger and Tristan Zesiger of Switzerland; two sisters: Lori Ottesen and Anne Cunningham; closest friend Donna Shankin; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
