Maria Oliveira

Maria S. Oliveira, 86, of Bethlehem and Pocono Lake, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at her daughters' residence.

Born on September 6, 1939, in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Domingues Pereira and Ermelinda Fernandes Ramoa.

Maria was a family-oriented woman, whose generous spirit and gracious demeanor welcomed all to her home. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, hosting Sunday family dinners where laughter and love filled the air. A nurturing grandmother, she took great pride in her grandchildren and formed special bonds with her beloved cat and family pets.

Maria will be dearly missed by her three daughters: Deolinda M. Bond, and her husband John Scott, of Pocono Lake; Maria Alice Leskin, and her husband Edward A., of Orefield; and Maria Fatima Roth, and her husband Kent Lee, of Allentown; and two grandchildren, Christina Marie Oliveira of Northampton and Claire Serenah Leskin of Orefield; two brothers and one sister.

In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Oliveira; four brothers and one sister.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
