Marian F. Werkheiser, 103, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Twp., just four days shy of her 104th birthday. She was the wife of the late William W. Werkheiser who died February 11, 2001. Marian was born in Bethlehem on June 26, 1926 to the late John and Anna (Martin) Fritz. She was a 1939 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem. Marian worked for the former Bethlehem Steel but, it was her unwavering commitment to her family that defined her legacy as a devoted housewife. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem and its Women's Sodality and St. Bernard's Women's Auxiliary. Marian was a volunteer for many years at Holy Family Manor.
Survivors: sons: William W. (Roslyn) Werkheiser, Jr. of Wheaton, IL, George S. (Kelly) Werkheiser of Bethlehem, John F. (Nancy) Werkheiser of Bethlehem; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings: Bernard Fritz, Loretta Grim & Ann Ferry.
Services: Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 9:30-10:30 am Monday, June 30, 2025 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 419 Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
