Marion L Warner

June 23, 1919 — May 14, 2006

Marion L. Warner, 86, of East China, Michigan, entered into Eternal Life from the home of her son on Sunday, May 14, 2006. She was born in Detroit on June 23, 1919, a daughter to the late Terrence "Kit" and Laura Saph McDonald, and was a lifelong area resident. She married Ellis R. Warner on June 1, 1940 in St. Clair and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1978.

Marion was a graduate of Marine City High School, Class of 1938. She was instrumental in beginning the Marine City Scholarship Foundation. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Marine City, where she served as president of the Altar Guild, treasurer of the E.C.W., and Lay Eucharistic Minister. Marion was also a member of St. Clair County Extension, A.A.R.P., and Cherry Beach Seniors. She also served as a substitute cook with the East China Schools and also cooked at Camp Drusilla-Farwell for the Boys Club of Detroit on Harsens Island.

Survivors: Daughters, Laura Robinson and husband Mitch of Yale, MI and Donna Dolak and husband Steve of Bethlehem, PA; son, Terry Warner of East China, MI; grandchildren, Shelley Robinson, Don Robinson, Andrea Dolak and Stephanie Dolak; brother Jack McDonald of St. Clair, MI; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Marion was preceded in her death by her parents; husband; sisters, Hazel and Leola; and brother, Terrence.

Services: Were held on May 17, 2006 at Rosehill Cemetery in East China, MI.
