Mary Ann Belchunes

Mary Ann Belchunes, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Belchunes, Sr. Mary Ann was born on June 3, 1942 in Hudson, PA to the late Stanley and Sophie (Yastrzemski) Kulmaczeski. She worked for Northampton County Community College as Administration Asst. for 35 years until retiring. Mary Ann was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem Twp. She was an avid New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. Mary Ann was a Friend of the Bethlehem Mounted Police, she enjoyed when they would stop at her house so she could feed them and always bought them new "shoes" for Christmas.

Survivors: children: Joseph S. Belchunes, Jr. of Nazareth, Karen D. (M. Lincoln) Kaar of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Jaden & Reagan Kaar. Predeceased by her son: Mark A. Belchunes; brother: Frank Kulmaczeski.

Services: Friends and family are invited to her viewing, 4-6pm Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem. A Mass of Chirstian Burial will be held 11am Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem.
